Bible reading today:
Jeremiah 30 and 31, Psalm 79, Proverbs 1, James 1- 2.
Today’s scripture verse:
Romans 5: 1. Therefore, since we have been declared righteous by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
I will not blame God when something becomes difficult in my life. It is my fault, not God’s. I will not be stubborn on this matter as long as I attempt to serve myself and God there will be a puzzled feeling. I must have a complete reliance on God. My difficulty comes when I seize the Holy Spirit without the right, and use the Spirit for my own ends. I will obey God and receive immeasurable peace, which is not natural, but the peace of Jesus. I will wait for this peace. I will not react on an impulse, or sense of heroics, if so, Jesus will not witness, and there is no simplicity of Godly confidence, the spirit of simplicity is born of the Holy Ghost and not my decisions. Any problems that occur between God and me is due to my disobedience. Any problem that is alongside me while I serve God increases my ecstatic delight, because I know that my Father knows. (O. Chambers)
John 14:27. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
