Bible reading today:

Daniel 5, Psalm 95, Proverbs 19, 1 Corinthians 5 and 6.

Today’s scripture verse:

Matthew 18:14, In the same way, it is not the will of your Father in heaven that one of these little ones perish.

How do you define mercy, forgiveness and justice?  In the world we live in today we have all sorts of laws, and so called justice systems.  While some are fair, others are merciless, and unforgiving.  God is the author of justice, God’s justice is true and unfailing.  God’s forgiveness is set by Himself, because He paid for forgiveness through the death of His only Son, whose blood was shed for us on the Cross at Calvary.  This was an act of forgiveness, compassion, and mercy that none of us could ever accomplish.  While we were still heaped in evilness and sin, Jesus died for us, so we might have salvation through believing on Him.  And through believing we are saved by God’s Grace.  This was done for everyone, for ALL. All men have an inherent worth in the eyes of God.  It is not God’s will that any should perish.  Second Peter 3:9.  “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”  His gift of salvation is for everyone, it is free.  We just need to believe on Jesus and we will be saved.
