Today’s scripture(s) verse:

2 Corinthians 5:8

We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.

Many times we have put to rest loved ones in the grave. We take strength in God that He offers eternal peace and rest.  There is life beyond the grave, of which God is the soul CEO and director.  No one has power over death, we will all return to God.  Take comfort in this prayer knowing our loved ones are with God the Father.

Heavenly Father, we thank you for revealing to us what lies beyond the grave, for giving to us the Holy Scriptures, and for Your Holy Spirit that lives within us.  Glory and Praise to you father for You and You alone are the true living God, Creator of all things, and we praise You always.  Thank You for Jesus, and we rejoice in Him for our salvation that without Him we would be eternally lost.  Thank you for the glorious hope concerning those who sleep in Jesus as believers.  That the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus who has prepared a place for us who have placed faith in Him and believe.  He is soon returning, and will raise us from the grave, and take us to be with Him in Glory forever, and ever more.  Father God for the family, for the loved ones, and friends help us to always remember that while death is our enemy it has been defeated, and conquered by the Lord Jesus, and He works all things together for good for those who love Him.  We will also remember, and rest in the promise of Your Word, “that precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints,” and that death for the believer is a going home, a relief from the pain, and sorrows of this life. We ask now Lord that you would comfort, and strengthen the family, and friends help them to rest, and draw strength, and comfort from you. Thank You Father for all you do for us, bless, and protect each one that is gathered here, and I ask Father if their be one here that does not know Jesus that your Holy Spirit would convict, and bring to repentance the unsaved.  Thank You for loving us, for Your mercy, and for Your Grace, and now we ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior who is coming again to reunite us, and we will forever be together with Him.   Amen and Amen
