Today’s scripture(s) verse:

Psalms 116: 1-2

I love the Lord, because He has heard my voice, and my supplications. Because He has inclined His ear to me, therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live.

If you are a Christian, and believe on the Lord Jesus, then you must wonder at one time or another, does God hear me?  I know sometimes I feel like the Spirit of God is far from me, yet I know that He is omniscient and can be in more than one place at a time.  God is somewhat like the air that is all around us, He is indeed all over the world.  God knows each situation of our lives, and knows each outcome even though we might not know at the moment.  Anyway, He knows that the situation or predicament that we find ourselves in is going to have a good out come and His intervention is not necessary.  God allows us to live our lives as we see fit, and He does not force Himself on us at any time.  Now when we call upon Him through prayer, because the situation does not look good, God intervenes and we don’t even realize it.  There will be no huge lightning bolts or thunder when God acts on our behalf, but if we have not accepted His gift of salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ, then God will not react to our prayers.  The only prayer God hears from an unbeliever is the prayer of repentance.  It is so very important for people to understand this.  Without Jesus there is no salvation, without Jesus there is no hope.  Jesus bore our sin, and God will not accept any other method of forgiveness except through the cross of Jesus.
